Juncus cachepot is a slender handcrafted planter specifically designed to elevate tall, thin plants without overpowering their natural form.
Ideally suited for executive offices, luxury hotel lobbies, or high-end showrooms, it functions as a structural element that organizes space through greenery.
Its name, derived from the Latin for the rush plant, translates the spontaneous elegance of the reed into a sculptural and sober presence.
Part of the Via Aemilia collection, this project originated from a bespoke client request for a planter with a strong visual identity that remains discreet enough for contemporary interiors.
The goal was to emphasize the verticality of botanical life by framing it within a powerful, silent structure.
The structure of Juncus features a SPLOT® weave where strips of varying dimensions guide the eye upward, mimicking the natural growth of the plants it holds. This rhythmic texture lightens the cylindrical volume while maintaining a sense of structural power.
The black Abatellis finish - a velvety, metallic black - reacts subtly to both natural and artificial light, revealing the intricate manual work behind the surface. This architectural language creates a sharp graphic contrast between the deep metal and the vibrant green of the foliage.
Every Juncus is a unique piece of Italian high craftsmanship, fully customizable in terms of size, texture, and metallic palette. It represents a tailored approach to sustainable luxury, where reclaimed aluminum is woven into a timeless icon of character and essential design.
