Beyond standard illumination, it acts as a sculptural focal point for living rooms, bedrooms, or hotel corridors, but it truly excels when arranged in modular clusters to create celestial wall installations.
Its name evokes a suspended celestial body - a magnetic point that diffuses harmony through its geometric purity. This project originated from a bespoke client request for a scenic piece that maintains its aesthetic value even when switched off.
The goal was to merge function with high Italian craftsmanship, resulting in an object that caresses the wall rather than dominating it. Born as a tailored solution, it represents the philosophy of using light as a spatial material. Every piece is a unique narrative of sustainable luxury, designed to bring a poetic, silent focus to contemporary interiors.
The lamp features a dense and regular SPLOT® weave that forms a vibrant metallic surface. This intricate texture reflects the surroundings, keeping the object "alive" throughout the day even when unlit.
The hidden backlighting generates a uniform, soft halo against the wall, emphasizing the interplay of solids and voids.
This design draws inspiration from contemporary kinetic art, where surfaces interact with light to create a sense of depth and movement.
Available in various metallic finishes, Extended Point allows for extensive bespoke customization in colors and weaving patterns. It functions beautifully as a standalone piece or as part of a larger architectural composition. Handcrafted in Italy from reclaimed aluminum, it is a testament to artisanal excellence and modern lighting innovation.
