La Timida is a floor lamp featuring a handcrafted SPLOT® shade, designed to diffuse a soft and relaxing light. Perfect for cozy reading nooks, minimalist bedrooms, or professional studios, it creates an intimate atmosphere without imposing itself on the room.
The name "La Timida" (The Shy One) reflects its reserved personality - a rigorous yet discreet piece that expresses character through silent details.
Born alongside its sister "La Vanitosa" for the Salone del Mobile, it represents the sober and measured side of the collection. The project aimed to give shape to a lamp with rigorous proportions that integrates naturally into refined modern environments.
The steel structure supports a cylindrical shade crafted with the signature "Ménage à trois" weave. This pattern is developed from three main aluminum strips that seek, touch, and intertwine in a continuous rhythm, creating a subtle visual tension and formal complicity.
The metallic texture filters light delicately, transforming reclaimed material into a vibrant atmosphere even when turned off.
This rhythmic composition draws from contemporary minimalism, where repetition becomes a language of sober elegance. Available in Champagne and Nero Abatellis finishes, the lamp diffuses a suffused glow through the metallic net. Every piece is handcrafted in Italy, offering a sense of calm and intimacy. Upon request, finishes can be customized to ensure a tailored fit for any sophisticated interior.
