It acts as a scenographic backdrop for high-end boutiques or a mobile light sculpture in luxury showrooms, redefining spatial boundaries with a soft, immersive glow.
While the name evokes a sense of fluid movement and clarity, the design focuses on interpreting the space through rhythm and light.
This project originated from the demand for a versatile, mobile element that functions simultaneously as a decorative screen, a focal background, and a dynamic light source.
Created to suit contemporary contract environments without weighing them down, Yar is a bespoke solution that combines high Italian craftsmanship with industrial innovation. It responds to the modern need for flexible partitions that possess a strong material identity and an elegant, weightless soul.
The surface of Yar separè features a regular SPLOT® weave in a shimmering silver finish, meticulously hand-braided using recycled aluminum strips. This intricate metallic texture is specifically inspired by the continuous movement of water, mimicking light ripples and shifting vibrations that evolve throughout the day.
The internal steel structure provides stability, while integrated wheels allow for effortless reconfiguration into linear, curved, or wrap-around layouts. This modular piece offers extensive customization, from the weave pattern and aluminum finish to the module's shape and light intensity.
