Campo is a maxi pouf featuring an artisanal SPLOT® base, designed as a generous seat that blends functional comfort with sculptural art. It is perfect for large living areas, refined lounges, or open contract spaces where it serves as a magnetic hub for social gathering and relaxation.
The name Campo draws inspiration from the iconic Venetian squares - vibrant centers of dialogue and meeting points that have guarded the city’s social essence for centuries.
Part of the Pontoinaere collection, this project was born from the specific request to create an expansive, welcoming seat that encourages slow living and shared moments. Inspired by traditional lace-making, it reinterprets the lightness and complexity of ancient textures through a contemporary, sustainable lens.
The base of the Maxi Pouf Campo showcases a bespoke SPLOT® weave, where strips of different widths alternate to create an intricate warp and weft effect.
This rhythmic play of light is a direct tribute to Venetian lace, mimicking its complex patterns through a modern metallic skin. The structure is available in two finishes: a luminous total white or a white and silver combination. These reflections find a chromatic balance with the blue Alcantara seat, a velvety fabric evoking the depth of the Venetian lagoon.
Entirely handcrafted in Italy, Campo can be further personalized in finishes and textures, offering a tailored solution for architects seeking an expressive piece that balances stability with visual airiness. This functional artwork invites a sensory experience through touch and sight.
